China Foma Machinery Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Foma Group") was established in 1979. Its predecessor was the Machinery Company of the Ministry of Forestry. In 1994, the company was listed as one of the 100 pilot units of the State Council to establish a modern enterprise system. In 1998, it was assigned to the National Large Enterprise Working Committee. In 2003, it became a central enterprise supervised by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. In 2007, it was reorganized with China National Machinery Industry Corporation and became its wholly-owned subsidiary. The company is headquartered in Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province. It currently has 19 second- and third-level enterprises, of which Linhai Co., Ltd. is a listed company. In December 2019, China Foma Group implemented trusteeship of China National Machinery Heavy Industry Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "China Machinery Heavy Industry"). China Foma Group is a large central enterprise engaged in the research, development, manufacturing and sales of special equipment in China. It is the chairman unit of the China Forestry Machinery Association. China Foma's business mainly consists of five major business segments: agricultural machinery, power equipment and vehicles, wood-based panel machinery, engineering trade, and engineering machinery. It has accumulated decades of production and operation experience in wood-based panel machinery, power machinery, etc. The products are exported to 130 countries and regions including the United States, Canada, Japan, Europe, South Asia, and Southeast Asia, and enjoy a high market reputation. Since the 12th Five-Year Plan, China Fomar Group has vigorously promoted the "green energy development" project, built a number of large-scale ground photovoltaic power stations and distributed photovoltaic projects in Ningxia, Jiangsu, Guangdong and other places, and combined with desert control in the western region, built and held the Ningxia Zhenqi 30MW ground photovoltaic power station and the Guangdong Sofia distributed photovoltaic project, making due contributions to the development and utilization of regional new energy and the economic development of enterprises.
